| Additional information | Erik has several friends from CIS applying to Skagerak. We moved from the US in 2016 and it was a great stress on Erik and his siblings. Given that he is not fluent or proficient in Norwegian, and given that he very much wishes to attend Skagerak and obtain the IB diploma, we are hoping keeping him with his friends will weigh in your decision making given that he finally has a stable group of close friends after having been uprooted in 2016. We believe your school would be the best place for him both academically and personally. He was very depressed when we first came here, and his and his siblings´grades suffered, but this last year he has started to make headway and improved his grades and developed very good work habits. He is very interested in an academic career, and being taught in English in an environment where he could be with his closest friends would, we think, greatly help him keep his upward trajectory going.
